Brewfest Tips & FAQS

Brewfest is Saturday, August 3rd from 6 to 9 at the Utica Zoo. Here are some tips and frequently asked questions:

Tickets (Become a Utica Zoo Member before the event to get the best price!)

Advance Sale Prices: $35 Members, $40 Non-Members, $25 Designated Drivers.

Ticket Locations: Tickets available at Utica Zoo Gift Shop and Eventbrite. Also available at 16 Stone Brewpub, Beer Belly Bob’s, Beer Here, Chanatry’s, Copper City Brewery, City Liquors, Gems Along the Mohawk, Marcy Discount Beverage, One Realty Partners, Saranac Brewery Shop, & Woodland Brewery

Tickets sold at door? Yes. $40 Members, $45 Non-Members, and $25 Designated Drivers.

Parking: You can park in the Utica Zoo parking lots. Overflow parking at MVCC and Parkway Rec Center with shuttle buses to and from the Zoo  You can also get dropped off at the Zoo. We strongly encourage rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft, local taxis, or to be dropped off by a friend or family. Anyone being dropped off will be able to be dropped at the gate. No matter how you get here; please travel safely.

Bring your ID: Must be 21 or older with photo ID to enter. No exceptions.

Beer Selection: Over 120 craft beers, ciders, seltzers, malt beverages, wines, and wine slushies from around the country and around the world.

What else do I get with admission? Access to the Zoo, food samples from Applebee;s, Texas Roadhouse, Domino’s, Celtic Harp, Grapevine Restaurant, Uno Pizzeria & Grill, and sausage and peppers with onions, live music from China Pig and Soup Bone Charley, access to silent auction and vendors, and a 2019 Brewfest pint glass (First 3000 attendees).

Silent Auction: Like to win things? Participate in our silent auction and you could win a variety of electronics, tools, homewares, furniture, kid’s toys, gift certificates from local businesses, and much more! Auction begins at 6 pm in the Auditorium and ends at 8 pm.

Will the animals be out? Yes. You will be able to check out the whole Zoo at Brewfest. We ask that you remember that we care for wild animals and to respect the animals and our grounds. Entering an exhibit or crossing a fence line during Brewfest will lead to immediate removal from the grounds and a report filed with the Utica Police Department.

Rain or Shine: Brewfest is spread out under many large tents and our pavilion. Weather is looking amazing for Saturday!

August 3rd Zoo Hours: Utica Zoo is open from 10 to 1 pm and will re-open at 6 pm for Brewfest.

Fun Fact: the Utica Zoo is home to the World’s Largest Watering Can. How much beer could it hold? 13,113 gallons OR 104,904 16 ounce cups OR 846 kegs!
