COVID-19 Coronavirus Update

In an abundance of caution, the Utica Zoo will be closed to the public until further notice to help mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. We will have a core team of animal care professionals on grounds to continue to provide top level animal care to our animals. Please refer to our Facebook page for continuous updates. Thank you.

Thank you for thinking of the Utica Zoo in regards to supporting your event or fundraiser. As a member of this community for over 100 years, we are well aware of how important it is to support our community members. We are happy to consider your request for a donation from the Utica Zoo, unfortunately, however, we can not always accommodate every request.

In 2018 alone, we donated over $10,000 worth of items to various events and fundraisers in our community. We have supported scout troops and schools with raffles and auctions to churches and libraries with baskets and prizes. Whether you are having a benefit for a friend or family member or a black tie gala, we are happy to lend our support when possible. Some of those that we have donated to in the past include the Utica Children’s Museum, Young Scholars, the Make A Wish Foundation, Made in Utica, the American Heart Association, ARC and the Landmarks Society to name a few.
