Earth Day 2017

Utica Zoo’s annual Earth Day Celebration is Saturday, April 29th, 2017 from 11am to 3pm at the Utica Zoo. Pine saplings will be given to the first 50 families in attendance, and animal meet and greets will occur throughout the day. Earth Day will feature earth-friendly vendors, locally made goods, and family friendly services including:

  • Oneida Herkimer Solid Waste Authority
  • Smokey Bear
  • CONFIDATA Paper Shredding
  • “Seeing Flowers” an educational presentation on plant families by local author Teri Dunn Chace from 2 to 3:30pm.
  • Fidelis Care
  • Mel’s Creations
  • Weekend Creations
  • AMF Bowling
  • NY PENN Girl Scouts
