Jr. Docents are young adults, ages 14 and up, who love working with animals and people! As a Jr. Docent you would be helping the zoo in its greatest mission … teaching the public about the importance of animals and where they live! You’ll be a great help to us and you’ll learn some awesome stuff too! In these two weeks the class will teach you:
- Animal facts and information about the residents of The Utica Zoo, both big and small
- Great public speaking skills
- How to work with and handle animals from our education department
Dates: A new class will start summer 2013
