March 14, 2020
Since March 14, 2020, the Utica Zoo has been closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Our highly trained and passionate Keeper staff have been continuing to provide the absolute best care possible for our animals, and our dedicated facilities team has been watching over the Zoo to make sure our beautiful grounds are ready for you to enjoy as soon as we are able to be together again. Supporting the Utica Zoo Emergency Operations Fund helps ease the financial burden of our uncertain circumstances.
As a 501(c)3 Not for Profit Organization, we rely on our revenue from admissions, events, gift shop, and educational programs to survive and continue to provide top-level care to our animals. Unfortunately, this necessary closure has been devastating to our income. We are incredibly thankful to our friends and supporters who have been generously sending donations to help us continue to care for our animals.
Your tax-deductible donation will go towards the continued care of our animals, including food, nutritional supplements, enrichment, veterinary care, or anything else they may need to be healthy and happy. Please use the form below to send your gift securely via PayPal.
Thank you so much for your support! We will get through this together and we can’t wait to see you again at the Utica Zoo!
