Celebrate Spring at the Utica Zoo with a series of fun, planet-friendly programs. Engage in a fun, take-home project while you learn all about the plants and animals of a habitat. For ages 12 and up.

May 1: Air Plants
Air Plants are epiphytes, meaning plants that grow without dirt. Air Plants attach themselves to rocks, trees, shrubs, or the ground with their roots. They get their nutrients and moisture from the air. Make a fun planter for your air plant, meet a few rainforest animals and enjoy rainforest snacks!

Cost is $25 for members and $30 for not-yet-members. Interested in becoming a Utica Zoo Member? Save money on signature events and admission all year long! Visit UticaZoo.org/membership today!

Each class is limited to 20 participants, so register today! Contact Mary Hall at mary.hall@uticazoo.org or 315-738-0472 x.26
