Upcoming Events

New York Power Authority Wildife Festival- Join us Saturday, September 18th for the New York Power Authority Wildlife Festival.  The Utica Zoo is the permanent home for this annual event focusing on the habitats and animals of our region.  The first 1,200 visitors get FREE admission, compliments of New York Power Authority.  We open at 10:00AM.  Don't be late!

Grandparents Day- September 12th- We honor our Mothers and our Fathers. Let’s not forget to honor the generation that started it all, our grandparents! Sunday, September 12 is Grandparents Day at the Utica Zoo. Grandma and Grandpa get in FREE when accompanied by their grandchildren. Treat them to a day at the zoo with sea lion shows and animal walkabouts, and create some memories with the family. Enjoy one of your favorite places with some of your favorite people!

Telethon- September 30th- Tune into WUTR from 6:00-8:00 PM to help us raise money to care for the animals throughout the winter.  And you can catch us throughout the day sneaking in to regualr programming.  Meet some of our critters up close and see live shots from the Zoo!

Spooktacular- October 29th, 30th, 31st- We're changing it up this year with one weekend of spooky events and more treats than you can handle! The afternoon of the 31st is all about the little ones, no scary stuff.  But you will be able to get your picture taken with the stars of the Haunted Hall and save your thrills and chills from year to year.  More details to come.  See you there!
