The Utica Zoo’s fall and winter STEM Academy and Hatchling class schedules have been announced. STEM Academy is geared towards learners aged 3-5 years old, while Hatchlings is intended for learners aged 18 months to 2 years old. Learn more about each program below or contact Program Coordinator Kathleen McGill at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315-738-0472 x.36.
Young children are natural scientists; curious about the world and how it works. You can foster that sense of wonder and curiosity at the Utica Zoo’s preschool STEM Academy. We will introduce your little learners to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) by engaging them in age-appropriate activities that focus on conservation, habitats, and animals. Classes will be interactive and may include live animal encounters, stories, crafts, activities and nature play.
Zoo Adventure classes are geared towards learners ages 3 to 5, but younger siblings are welcome. The fun starts at 10:30 am in the Auditorium. The cost is $7.00/child for members, $7.00/child plus admission for non-members. $5.00 for any additional child. Save money and pay for a full session upfront at a discounted rate! Pre-registration is required. For more information, or to register your child, contact Kathleen McGill at email@example.com or (315) 738-0472 ext. 36.
