With the announcement that the 21st Annual Wine in the Wilderness fundraising event to be held on June 6, 2020, would be canceled, the Utica Zoo has pivoted their attention to provide a digital event that hopes to provide a different kind of enjoyment for the community.
Presented by Bank of Utica, “Wine in the Virtual” is the Utica Zoo’s newest digital offering, joining the Uti-kaZoo Kid’s Academy, “Call With The Wild” Digital Encounters, UticaZooShop.com and more. Wine in the Virtual will bring many aspects of the popular on-grounds event to the Zoo’s social media, as well as a ship-to-home Party Box option. The digital event will take place on June 6, 2020, via Facebook. Wine in the Virtual Party Boxes start at $20 for one person, with additional people for $10 each. Pick-Up is available at Utica Zoo on Friday, June 5 from 2-5pm.

The 21st Annual Utica Zoo Wine in the Wilderness fundraiser event scheduled for June 6, 2020 has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We will be announcing a digital event shortly and will be bringing some aspects of Wine in the Wilderness to other well-known Utica Zoo events that occur later in the year. Stay tuned to our social media for updates.

General Admission: $40 in advance and $45 at the door.
Utica Zoo Members: $35 in advance and $40 at the door. (Available online and at the Zoo gift shop only.)
Designated Drivers: $25 in advance and at the door. Designated driver tickets to do not get a wine glass and will not be served alcohol at the event.
All ticket proceeds benefit the Utica Zoo. Prices subject to change.

Free parking at the Utica Zoo with free overflow parking at MVCC Payne Hall parking lot and the Parkway Rec Center. Shuttle buses will take you to and from the zoo at no cost from 5:30 to 10:00 pm. Attendees may be dropped off and picked up at the zoo. Uber, Lyft, and local taxi companies are highly suggested.
Please note that the Utica Zoo is open from 10 am to 1 pm on this day and will reopen at 6 pm for the event.
